Do I need Italian nationality to work for FAO, WFP or IFAD?

No for many internationally recruited roles. Professional vacancies are advertised according to each organisation’s eligibility rules, whereas local-support and national-contract posts may target candidates already entitled to work in Italy. The classification and wording of the individual notice determine eligibility, not the city alone.

Which portal should I use for Rome vacancies?

Use the official portal of the hiring organisation. FAO, WFP and IFAD maintain separate recruitment platforms, and a submitted profile cannot be reused automatically across them. Use IGOJobs to discover and compare opportunities, then finish only in the employer’s stated system.

Is Italian required?
