Staff Assistant (Data Manager)New

NATO Joint Force Command Naples seeks a Staff Assistant Data Manager to manage geospatial information and the Core GIS Database. The assistant will maintain geospatial catalogues, provide digital data and advice to command systems, collect and quality-control products and metadata, synchronize data with GEOINT units, train users, support committees and working groups, and ensure GIS.

• Maintain the Core GIS Database and electronic geospatial catalogues
• Provide geospatial data and advice to functional-area and CIS managers
• Manage collection, preparation, dissemination and quality control of geospatial information
• Maintain metadata and web-based geospatial services
• Synchronize data with geospatial and GEOINT units
• Train users and contribute to NATO data-management committees

• Secondary education with advanced vocational qualification and related experience
• Minimum five years related professional experience including three years geospatial data management
• Advanced SQL Server, Python and enterprise GIS knowledge
• English language proficiency
