Job Description
NATO Joint Force Command Naples seeks a Staff Assistant Data Manager to manage geospatial information and the Core GIS Database. The assistant will maintain geospatial catalogues, provide digital data and advice to command systems, collect and quality-control products and metadata, synchronize data with GEOINT units, train users, support committees and working groups, and ensure GIS.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Maintain the Core GIS Database and electronic geospatial catalogues
- Provide geospatial data and advice to functional-area and CIS managers
- Manage collection, preparation, dissemination and quality control of geospatial information
- Maintain metadata and web-based geospatial services
- Synchronize data with geospatial and GEOINT units
- Train users and contribute to NATO data-management committees
Role Requirements
- Secondary education with advanced vocational qualification and related experience
- Minimum five years related professional experience including three years geospatial data management
- Advanced SQL Server, Python and enterprise GIS knowledge
- English language proficiency

- ArcGIS Enterprise knowledge
- Geospatial imagery-analysis experience
