IGO Jobs is operated by Vishishth, a sole proprietor registered in India. Vishishth, operating IGO Jobs, is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. IGO Jobs provides job discovery and application-management tools for UN, IGO, NGO, humanitarian, and international development roles.

Account information: your email address, authentication details handled through our authentication provider, and basic account settings.

Profile information: details you choose to provide, such as name, username, location, phone number, professional headline, summary, skills, tools, languages, certifications, volunteering, achievements, links, and profile photo.

Uploaded documents: CVs or resumes and profile images that you upload for profile setup, autofill, or account personalisation.

Job activity: saved jobs, tracked applications, application status, deadlines, match scores, notes, and related job-search activity inside the service.

Usage and device information: pages viewed, approximate location derived from technical data, browser type, device information, referral source, performance data, and analytics events.

Communications: messages you send to us for support, feedback, bug reports, or account help.

Contract: we process account, profile, saved-job, tracker, CV, search, and support information where it is necessary to create your account or provide features you request.

Consent and preferences: analytics is enabled by default after we provide the cookie notice, and you can turn it off at any time in Cookie settings. If job-alert or marketing messages are offered, we use consent where required.

Legitimate interests: we process limited technical, security, fraud-prevention, debugging, and service-improvement information to keep IGO Jobs reliable and secure. We consider the effect on users before relying on this basis.

Legal obligations and claims: we may process information where necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal information or use private profile, CV, tracker, or notes data for third-party advertising.

IGO Jobs may use AI-assisted tools to help parse CVs, autofill profile fields, interpret search queries, generate embeddings, calculate job relevance, or improve matching features.

When you choose an AI feature, relevant CV, profile, search, or job text may be sent to an AI service provider only as needed to return the requested result. Depending on availability, that provider may be Google, OpenAI, DeepSeek, or Anthropic.

Match scores and recommendations help you organise your own job search. They are not provided to listed employers for recruitment decisions, do not determine whether you can apply, and do not guarantee an interview or offer.

AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or biased. Review extracted profile fields, match scores, and job information before relying on them. You remain in control of what profile information you save.

Essential cookies keep accounts signed in, protect the service, remember settings you choose, and provide features you request. They remain active because the website depends on them.

Optional analytics helps us understand visits, searches, filters, and feature usage so we can improve job discovery, recommendations, and aggregated market-intelligence insights. It is enabled by default and can be turned off in Cookie settings.

We do not sell your analytics information.

We use service providers to operate IGO Jobs. These include Cloudflare for hosting and delivery; Supabase for authentication, account data, database functions, and private file storage; Neon for the job-listing database and limited support rate-limit records; Google Forms for support messages; Google Analytics for optional analytics; and Google, OpenAI, DeepSeek, or Anthropic for requested AI-assisted features.

Each provider receives only the information reasonably needed for its service. Providers may use subprocessors under their own data-processing terms. We may replace a provider when the service changes and will update this policy when that materially affects users.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.

Public job listings are visible to visitors. Your private profile, CVs, saved jobs, application tracker, and notes are not intended to be publicly visible.

We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, database security policies, private storage where appropriate, and limited administrative access.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and email account secure and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Account and profile information is generally kept while your account remains active. Saved jobs, tracker entries, notes, and profile fields are kept until you remove them or the account is deleted.

A stored CV is kept until it is replaced, deleted, or the account is deleted. A new CV upload replaces the previous stored CV. Short-term upload and anti-abuse records may be retained as needed to enforce security and rate limits.

Support messages are retained while needed to resolve the request and maintain an appropriate record. Security and diagnostic records are retained only for the period reasonably needed to investigate incidents, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.

Analytics information is retained according to the configured Google Analytics retention period. When information is deleted from active systems, limited copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until the applicable backup cycle completes or longer where law or a legal claim requires it.

You can update many account and profile details directly in your profile settings.

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a portable copy of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.

IGO Jobs and its providers may process information outside your country, including in Switzerland, the European Economic Area, and the United States. Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as providing adequate data protection.

For transfers to a country without an applicable adequacy decision, we rely on safeguards made available by the relevant provider, such as approved standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may contact us for information about the safeguard relevant to your data.

Job information is obtained from official employer websites, recruitment systems, feeds, and related public sources. Listings may include professional contact information published by an employer. IGO Jobs uses this information to present and verify vacancies, keep listings current, and link users to the official source.

If a listing contains personal information that should be corrected or removed, contact support@igojobs.com and identify the relevant page.

IGO Jobs is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating the date on this page or providing an in-product notice.
