The rankings use the number of active public vacancies currently assigned to each normalized location. Closed and expired jobs stop contributing to the totals, and the order changes as new roles open across the organizations covered by IGO Jobs.

No. The duty station only identifies where the work is based. Recruitment status depends on the job category, contract, grade, nationality restrictions, and work-authorization requirements stated in the vacancy.
