Job Description
UNICEF is recruiting Communication Associates in Rome to support the Communication and Advocacy Division. The associates will manage administration, planning data and procurement processes; coordinate communication, advocacy and digital-outreach activities; maintain knowledge-management resources; and use digital and AI tools to turn complex data into clear reports, dashboards and products.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Compile thematic files and background materials for workshops, seminars, events and campaigns
- Manage logistics for capacity-development activities and conferences
- Monitor project implementation against milestones and resources and recommend performance improvements
- Process contracts and documentation for consultants and external partners
- Coordinate communication and advocacy activities with providers and agencies
- Maintain virtual knowledge-management resources and draft reports, briefs and knowledge products
Role Requirements
- Secondary education
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in business operations support and administrative assistance in communication and advocacy or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain work relationships
- Proficiency in English
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language
- Experience with an international organisation in a multicultural environment
- Experience applying corporate style and brand guidelines
- Hands-on experience with online tools
- Country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
