Job Description
UNICEF seeks a Communication Associate in Cotonou to support country-office advocacy and communication planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The role manages social and digital media platforms and contributes to media relations, web content, partnerships, events and administrative support. It strengthens communications that advance children’s rights in Benin.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Plan and implement country-office advocacy and communication initiatives
- Manage social-media and digital-media platforms
- Support media relations and website content management
- Monitor and evaluate communication activities
- Coordinate celebrities, partners and special events
- Provide administrative support for communication work
Role Requirements
- Completion of secondary education, preferably with technical or university studies in communication, journalism, marketing or digital media
- At least six years of relevant administrative or secretarial experience
- Perfect fluency in French and intermediate proficiency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience creating and managing multimedia content for social media and websites
- Knowledge of Canva, Hootsuite, Sony Vegas, Movavi, Drupal or similar content-management tools
