AVRR Project Assistant (Outreach)New

Delivers outreach and counselling for IOM's Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration activities in Provincia Autonoma di Trento. The project assistant works with migrants, local institutions, NGOs and diaspora groups, processes AVRR applications and documentation, supports return arrangements and produces information for beneficiary profiling, reporting and project communication.

• Build contacts with municipalities, local entities, NGOs and diaspora groups to strengthen AVRR referral mechanisms
• Deliver AVRR information sessions and tailored counselling to third-country nationals considering return
• Submit AVRR applications to competent Prefectures and maintain returnee case files
• Disseminate AVRR information materials with the Project Coordinator
• Support migrants to complete AVRR applications and secure travel documentation through consulates when needed
• Coordinate with Police Headquarters, Immigration Offices and Prefectures on AVRR authorization
• Help organize transport for medical and non-medical cases and obtain required medical documentation
• Compile information for statistical reporting, migrant profiling and beneficiary success stories

• University degree in listed related disciplines with two years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with four years
• At least two years of working experience in the migration sector
• Experience providing direct assistance to migrant populations, including vulnerable people
• Fluency in Italian and English, oral and written
