Review the project background, functional responsibilities, contract type, level, duration, duty station and education, experience and language requirements. UNOPS positions can be short- or long-term and may use an Individual Contractor Agreement, so do not assume staff benefits or mobility from the title alone.

For a roster, apply to the right pool by its deadline and expect panel review, role-specific assessments, at least two recent-reference checks and independent-committee review. Successful candidates become roster members; they may be considered for relevant future vacancies, rather than receiving an automatic placement.
