Job Description
Supports UNOPS project staff in Brasília with design review and construction follow-up, helping infrastructure projects meet standards. The trainee assists teams with urban, architectural and engineering plans, tender documents and studies, accompanies engineering inspections, and supports recommendations while observing health, safety, environmental and safeguarding requirements.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support development, preparation, coordination and review of urban, architectural and complementary plans and projects
- Support preparation and review of terms of reference, specifications, tender documents and technical manuals
- Support all stages of tendering for project and construction contracts
- Identify and recommend architectural and engineering solutions through technical studies
- Organise project and construction administrative routines including schedules, meetings and process follow-up
- Accompany engineering inspections of systems, structures and installations
- Support architecture, urban-planning and engineering research
- Support technical assistance to partnerships
Role Requirements
- Currently enrolled in, or graduated within the past three years from, a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or another engineering field
- Position is exclusively for persons with disabilities
- Native Portuguese and basic Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Enrollment from the eighth semester in an eligible degree
- Experience in architecture, engineering or engineering projects
- Experience in humanitarian or development contexts
- Basic English
