Technical Studentship (Mechanical Engineering)New

Students gain supervised practical experience in mechanical engineering at CERN, supporting design, manufacturing, assembly and testing of components and systems. The studentship develops practical engineering capability through technical activities and collaboration with specialists in an international research setting.

• Assist engineers, technicians and scientists in mechanical engineering work
• Contribute to design, manufacturing, assembly and testing of mechanical components and systems
• Undertake supervised day-to-day technical activities
• Collaborate and exchange ideas with an international multidisciplinary team

• Currently studying in the stated field or a related discipline
• Required or encouraged by the university to complete a practical training period
• Completed at least 18 months of studies at the time of selection
• National of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State
• Remain enrolled as a full-time student during the studentship
