Technical Studentship (IT, Mathematics & Robotics)New

Offers students practical experience in information technology, mathematics or robotics through supervised technical projects at CERN. The studentship combines hands-on learning with contributions to software, computing infrastructure or robotics, helping participants develop technical skills in a research environment.

• Assist engineers, technicians and scientists in the relevant field of study
• Contribute to projects in software development, computing infrastructure or robotics
• Support day-to-day technical activities under close supervision
• Collaborate and exchange ideas with an international multidisciplinary team

• Currently studying computer science, mathematics, robotics, engineering or a related field
• University practical-training period required or encouraged
• Completed at least 18 months or three semesters of relevant studies
• Remain enrolled as a full-time student during the studentship
• National of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State
• Good knowledge of English or French

• Monthly net allowance of CHF 3,486
• Thirty days of paid leave plus two weeks of annual closure
• Health-insurance coverage with contribution deducted from the allowance
