An open, spontaneous application pool for early-career candidates in technical fields at CERN, without a specific vacancy attached. Selected candidates may be matched to projects in applied physics, engineering, computing, or related technical fields as opportunities arise.

• Contribute to projects in applied physics, engineering, computing or related technical fields
• Collaborate with experts in an international, multidisciplinary environment
• Take part in projects that improve processes and support research
• Bring fresh ideas to a diverse, multidisciplinary team

• Maximum 2 years of professional experience since graduation in a technical or administrative field
• Highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma or a shorter non-university degree; bachelor's, master's or PhD holders not eligible
• National of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State (Pakistani and Lithuanian nationals currently not considered for 2026 start dates)
• Must never have held a CERN fellow or graduate contract before

• This is a spontaneous application pool, not a specific vacancy; contract duration up to 24 months, extendable up to 36 months if matched to a role
