Summary of Responsibilities
- Support lending operations and advisory work for resilient infrastructure and urban services
- Provide engineering inputs to infrastructure, climate-resilience and disaster-risk projects
- Contribute analytical work and policy dialogue on urbanization and infrastructure investment
- Support local-government capacity and service-delivery improvements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and government counterparts
- Develop solutions for livable, resilient and economically competitive cities
Role Requirements
- Minimum of a master’s degree in civil/municipal/environmental engineering
- 2–6 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in English
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of municipal infrastructure financing or subnational finance would be an asset
- Demonstrated interest in development work and the World Bank Group mission
