Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support lending operations and advisory work for resilient infrastructure and urban services
  • Provide engineering inputs to infrastructure, climate-resilience and disaster-risk projects
  • Contribute analytical work and policy dialogue on urbanization and infrastructure investment
  • Support local-government capacity and service-delivery improvements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and government counterparts
  • Develop solutions for livable, resilient and economically competitive cities

Role Requirements

  • Minimum of a master’s degree in civil/municipal/environmental engineering
  • 2–6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency in English

Desired Criteria

  • Knowledge of municipal infrastructure financing or subnational finance would be an asset
  • Demonstrated interest in development work and the World Bank Group mission
