This World Bank Young Professional designs physical security and fire safety systems in Washington, DC. The role develops technical requirements, reviews designs, assesses sites, monitors implementation, advises real estate and security teams, supports guidelines and training, manages budgets, and ensures compliance for access control, CCTV, alarms, lighting and building-code facilities.

• Review designs, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with WBG and international standards
• Conduct site assessments and monitor implementation of security and fire life safety measures
• Prepare role-specific technical reports and documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders on operational delivery

• Minimum of a master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Structural Engineering or Engineering Technology, or a related field
• 2-6 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in English
