Summary of Responsibilities
- Support lending operations, trust-funded activities and flagship water-security programmes
- Contribute integrated solutions for water reuse, irrigation, utilities and groundwater management
- Conduct research, data analysis and technical reviews for country engagements
- Support water-governance, financing and private-capital reforms
- Participate in implementation-support missions and stakeholder consultations
- Prepare policy notes, concept notes, briefing materials and results reports
Role Requirements
- Minimum of a master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, water resources management, environmental science or policy, economics, public policy, development studies, agriculture, climate studies, international development, or another relevant water-related field
- 2-6 years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience in irrigation modernization, utility management or water governance is an advantage
- Demonstrated technical experience in water-security areas
