Job Description
Delivers engineering project work for MONUSCO across facilities and field infrastructure, applying technical calculations and established practices to design, construction, repair and maintenance. The engineer plans budgets and work schedules, oversees contractors and verifies maintenance in camps, supporting safe, reliable mission operations at Kinshasa and Beni duty stations.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Apply engineering calculations, practices and precedents to design, construct or repair field infrastructure and facilities
- Support work on buildings, roads, bridges, airfields, helipads, docks, waste disposal, flood control, water treatment, power distribution and environmental-control systems
- Develop annual engineering budgets and associated work schedules based on resource planning, material needs and enabling capacities
- Supervise commercial contractors implementing facility-maintenance works and inspect routine and scheduled camp maintenance
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in civil engineering, architecture, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related appropriate area, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in engineering projects management
- English
- French is desirable
