Job Description
Coordinate construction activities for UNICEF's large country office in Bangui. The engineer will plan construction work, support procurement, monitor works on site, and prepare designs and technical documents. The assignment will work with UNICEF programme and operations colleagues to define construction interventions that meet programme needs and deliver results for children.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prepare the annual construction workplan
- Coordinate construction interventions with UNICEF programme colleagues and government counterparts
- Prepare construction designs and technical documents
- Support construction procurement processes
- Monitor construction projects and works on site
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, architecture or another relevant area
- At least five years of relevant project-management, site-supervision or quality-assurance experience
- Fluency in French and English
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language
- Emergency experience
- Contract management experience
- Financial analysis experience
