Job Description
Provides technical, operational and administrative support for UNICEF Niger's emergency WASH programme. The officer helps develop, implement, monitor and evaluate country-programme results, combining humanitarian preparedness and response with programme delivery, partnerships, knowledge management and capacity building under the supervision of the Chief of WASH.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide technical, operational and administrative support throughout the WASH programming process
- Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate WASH output results for the country programme
- Support humanitarian WASH preparedness and response
- Build networks and partnerships for WASH programme delivery
- Advance innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
Role Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Water and Sanitation Engineering, Water and Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Public Health Engineering or a related field
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in WASH programming
- Fluency in French
Desired Criteria
- Training or certification in WASH emergencies, water treatment, wastewater treatment or community-based approaches
- Experience in the UN system
- Experience at country level in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
