Job Description
UNFPA seeks an Emergency Response Secretariat Analyst in Geneva to support emergency-policy rollout. The analyst will coordinate headquarters, regional and country offices; support crisis-team meetings and preparedness actions; maintain tools and protocols; manage after-action reviews; deliver capacity building; analyze response data; and prepare reporting to strengthen humanitarian preparedness.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate EPP activated emergencies between headquarters, regional and country offices
- Support crisis response team meetings and action follow-up
- Develop and disseminate EPP tools, templates and guidelines
- Monitor preparedness actions, risk analysis and contingency planning
- Coordinate after-action reviews and manage resulting knowledge
- Analyze emergency-response data and prepare leadership reports
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in a listed field
- At least two years of humanitarian, field-operations, emergency-preparedness, project-management or advisory experience
- In-country office-operations experience
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- UN system experience
- Secretariat or special-assistance experience
- Knowledge of dashboards and data management
