Compare Jordan vacancies on IGOJobs.com, then use the employer’s named application system. Amman contains UNRWA Headquarters, regional offices, country teams and humanitarian organizations, but they do not share a recruitment account or contract system.
1Find vacancies on correct portals
Use IGOJobs to compare roles, then open the official notice. UNRWA uses its own careers site; Secretariat positions use UN Careers and Inspira. UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP, UNOPS, IOM, UNDP, WHO, UN Women and NGOs use separate portals. Confirm whether the role is in Amman, Azraq, Zaatari, Irbid or Mafraq.
2Create the employer-specific application
Create an Inspira account for Secretariat roles and complete all required fields. Other employers can require a different profile, CV, personal history form, motivation statement, references or documents. Jordanian work permits and host arrangements
For ordinary Jordanian employment, non-Jordanian workers need a Ministry of Labour work permit; an offer alone is not authorization. Do staff need a Jordanian work permit?
