Public Information Intern (General Support)New

Supports UNRWA Jordan's Public Information Office with digital communications and office coordination. The intern will edit and schedule social content, create visuals and help cover field events, while researching stories, drafting concise updates and maintaining media assets. The assignment offers practical exposure to humanitarian public-information work supporting Palestine refugees.

• Edit and schedule content for UNRWA Jordan social-media platforms
• Design simple visuals, graphics and posters using Canva or similar tools
• Support photo and video coverage of activities, events and field visits
• Research background information for stories, articles and communication materials
• Draft short-form content, captions and internal updates under PIO guidance
• Organize digital content files and media assets and provide scheduling and filing support

• Enrolled in or recently graduated within the past two years from a university degree programme in communications, media, journalism, international relations, public relations, marketing or a related field
• Good written and spoken command of English

• Coursework, volunteer experience or internships in communications, social media or content creation
• Basic familiarity with social-media platforms and content-creation tools
• Interest in humanitarian, development or UN-related work
• Working knowledge of Arabic
