Job Description
Creates original digital content for the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs' Division for Palestinian Rights. The intern identifies stories, produces social-media posts, videos, photography and animations, and helps cover Division events and maintain UNISPAL multimedia updates. The work supports public communication on Palestinian-rights activities and Committee events.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Identify UN-related storytelling opportunities and turn them into completed content
- Create original social-media content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok
- Produce content from Division events including film screenings, concerts and exhibitions
- Provide production assistance, videography, video editing and animation
- Photograph and record multimedia material for web content and social-media announcements
- Draft materials supporting the Division for Palestinian Rights
- Maintain ongoing multimedia updates to the UNISPAL website
Role Requirements
- Be enrolled in or have completed a graduate programme, or be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme
- Field of study must be closely related to the internship
- Training or practical experience in Adobe After Effects and other video and photo editing software
- Fluency in English

Additional Information
- Full-time in-person internship may be adjusted to part-time or remote based on the successful candidate's needs
- Motivational Statement must state the preferred start date, degree title, graduation date and interest in the internship
- Applicants who have served six months in UN Common System internships cannot be engaged
- Travel, accommodation, medical insurance and living expenses are the intern's responsibility
