Summary of Responsibilities

  • Provide policy guidance on UN publication sales strategy
  • Manage acquisition, product development and sales across platforms
  • Lead operations of UN Publications and UN Bookshops
  • Promote publication dissemination through marketing and licensing
  • Prepare programme, budget and income-generation reports
  • Develop publishing-industry partnerships and train staff

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in business or public administration, marketing, communications, publishing or related area
  • At least ten years of book-publishing, electronic-publishing, product-development, international-sales or marketing experience
  • Digital-platform management experience
  • Programme management and project implementation experience
  • English fluency
