Job Description
Supports the Justice and Corrections Service's public-information work on rule of law and peacekeeping. The intern will develop communication, multimedia and social-media products; research and draft stories and publications; create data visualisations; and analyse web and engagement data to improve public understanding of justice and corrections in peace operations.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support strategic communication and public outreach on justice and corrections in peacekeeping
- Develop communications and multimedia products for web and social-networking platforms
- Create stories and information that increase awareness of justice and corrections issues
- Draft and edit fact sheets, brochures, newsletters and donor-related updates
- Create data visualisations and interactive content using design software
- Research, compile and draft material for social-media content
- Monitor and analyse social-media statistics and web analytics platforms
Role Requirements
- Enrolment in or completion of a graduate programme, or enrolment in or completion of the final academic year of a first university degree programme at minimum bachelor's level
- A field of study closely related to the internship
- Good knowledge of standard software applications including MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Teams
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of an additional official UN language
