Job Description
Supports the Office of the Special Envoy for the Great Lakes Region with public-information and multimedia work from Addis Ababa. The internship creates and edits communications content, prepares events and meeting materials, and produces visual products for online and offline use. It helps communicate the office’s peace, security and cooperation activities across the Great Lakes region.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Draft and edit press releases, newsletter articles, blogs and social-media content
- Prepare meetings and seminars and draft meeting minutes
- Produce infographics, motion graphics, short videos, publication covers and event flyers
- Prepare presentation decks on office projects, publications and activities
- Support video shooting, editing, sound mixing and slideshow animation
- Organise publication launches and events
- Research background information for public-information materials
Role Requirements
- Enrolment in or completion of a graduate programme in international relations, political science, economics, development, public administration or a related field
- Computer literacy in standard software applications
- Fluency in English

- Working knowledge of French
