Intern - Public Information - UN Photo

Supports the UN Photo Unit’s coverage of United Nations meetings by producing, retouching, captioning and preserving current and archival images. The internship develops practical digital-asset-management experience through the use of Orange Logic to upload photographs and embedded metadata for the UN Photo website, while contributing to relevant social-media work.

• Contribute to daily coverage of United Nations meetings
• Retouch current coverage and archival images
• Create basic captions for current coverage
• Upload and archive photographs with embedded metadata for publication on the UN Photo website
• Assist with UN Photo social-media accounts and related tasks

• Be enrolled in or have completed a graduate degree programme, or the final academic year of a first university degree programme at minimum bachelor’s level
• Have a field of study closely related to the internship
• Be computer literate in standard word-processing and spreadsheet applications
• Fluency in spoken and written English
