Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor security incidents, situation reports, local media and open sources
- Identify security information requirements and develop trend analysis
- Monitor political developments and assess conflict vulnerability
- Produce situation assessments and security risk analyses
- Manage SIMS review, enhancement, guidance and training
- Supervise GIS integration as a risk-management tool
- Strengthen security reporting lines and internal information flow
- Coordinate security information with internal and external stakeholders
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Political Science, Social Science, International Relations, Statistics or a related field
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in applied political or security analysis and research
- Experience in security information analysis, forecasting and risk assessment
- English is required
