Job Description
Provide programme and project administration support to OHCHR's Human Rights Inquiries Branch in Geneva. The assistant coordinates planning, budgeting, implementation monitoring and reporting; manages programme documentation and data; follows up on recruitment, travel, procurement and payment actions; and prepares correspondence. The role supports complex programme delivery, financial controls and executive support for branch management.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support programme and project planning and implementation
- Monitor project proposals, budgets and approval documentation
- Track programme outputs, resources, expenditures and obligations
- Coordinate project implementation actions and clearances
- Prepare reports, correspondence and budget revisions
- Maintain files, databases and statistical reporting materials
- Guide and train junior staff
Role Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least seven years of programme or project administration, technical cooperation or related experience, reduced to five years with a first-level university degree
- At least four years of international-organisation experience
- At least three years providing executive support to senior managers
- ERP system experience
- At least two years of budget management and monitoring experience
- Operational setup experience for new mandates
- English and French language proficiency
Desired Criteria
- Emergency-deployment management and support experience
