Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead the Strategic Heritage Plan work programme and allocate resources
- Direct project activities and coordinate work across UN entities
- Maintain programme management, financial control and contracting arrangements
- Prepare reports for intergovernmental bodies on budget and programme performance
- Manage audit responses and ensure high-quality project outputs
- Lead project closure planning, handover and lessons learned
- Manage and develop staff and contractors
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in business or public administration, finance, accounting, law, social sciences or a related field
- At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in a relevant field
- At least seven years of programme or project management experience including large-scale international projects
- Senior responsibility for resource planning, contract management, project management and cost control
- English and French at UN Level III
Desired Criteria
- Experience preparing complex reports for intergovernmental bodies
- Experience in a European contracting and legal environment
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning and project management software
