Job Description
Supports Joint Inspection Unit review teams conducting system-wide oversight and evaluation across the United Nations system. The full-time intern contributes research, analysis, drafting and knowledge-management work under the guidance of evaluation and inspection officers, helping reviews identify best practices, develop evidence-based recommendations and strengthen system coordination.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support review teams assigned to system-wide oversight reviews
- Conduct research, analysis and drafting for review work
- Prepare evidence-based review materials and recommendations
- Support information sharing across participating organisations
- Use digital tools for research, analysis and knowledge management
Role Requirements
- Enrolment in or recent completion of a graduate programme in a field relevant to JIU work, or final-year or recent completion of a bachelor-level programme
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong research, analytical and English drafting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Desired Criteria
- Familiarity with responsible use of AI-assisted tools
- Knowledge of advanced qualitative or quantitative analysis and visualisation software
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence tools
