Overview
Support OHCHR human-rights programming and United Nations coordination across Southern Africa. The volunteer assists partnership and resource-mobilisation groups, researches rights and governance issues, prepares reports and briefings, coordinates government and civil-society engagement, and provides programme administration.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate OHCHR participation in UN results and partnership groups
- Prepare agendas, briefs, presentations, minutes and action trackers
- Follow annual workplans and draft inputs for reports
- Research human-rights, governance, equality and inclusion issues
- Monitor human-rights developments and support partnerships
- Coordinate workshops, consultations and stakeholder events
- Prepare communications and visibility materials
- Support travel, procurement, filing and programme administration
Requirements
- Relevant diploma or degree in law, international relations, political science, development studies or related field
- Demonstrated interest or experience in human rights, governance, public policy, research, programme support, stakeholder engagement or coordination
- English
- Microsoft Office proficiency
