Programme Support Associate – Inclusive Growth

Supports UNDP South Africa’s inclusive-growth programmes and UN Country Team coordination mechanisms. The UN Volunteer organizes programme delivery and meetings, conducts research and basic analysis, tracks results, maintains knowledge and partnership records, and assists stakeholder engagement and administration.

Department: Inclusive Growth Portfolio

• Support planning and implementation of inclusive-growth and social-inclusion programmes
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, consultations, field missions and programme logistics
• Support Results Group and resource-mobilization theme-group agendas, minutes and action tracking
• Research inclusive growth, employment, sustainable development and partnerships
• Maintain activity trackers and compile performance data and programme reports
• Organize programme files, partnership records and knowledge repositories
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement with government, partners and United Nations agencies
• Provide administrative support for travel, procurement, correspondence and records

• Education in international relations, development studies, economics, public administration, social sciences or a related field; relevant diploma holders are also considered
• Demonstrated interest or experience in development programmes, project coordination or programme support
• Demonstrated interest or experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships and resource mobilization
• Skills in project administration, report writing, meeting coordination, research and information management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams
• English language ability
