Responsibilities
- Coordinate programme and project planning, proposals and approval documentation
- Review project budgets and cost plans for completeness and procedural compliance
- Monitor budget revisions, fund availability and entries in the budget system
- Coordinate recruitment, travel, payments, procurement and other implementation actions
- Compile delivery data and prepare status, budget and management reports
- Maintain correspondence, files, records, meetings and routine office administration
- Analyze data and prepare presentations, visualizations and information materials
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least five years of experience in programme or project administration, technical cooperation or a related area
- Experience in budget or cost planning
- Experience arranging travel for delegations, participants and staff
- Project-management experience involving regional and country offices
- Experience using an enterprise resource planning system such as Umoja
- English at United Nations Level II
