Job Description
The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund seeks an Information Systems Officer in New York to lead Oracle Cloud Financials solution architecture. The officer will design financial processes, dataflows and integrations; ensure secure and auditable enterprise connectivity; govern architecture standards, mentor technical teams and vendors, and promote responsible AI-assisted development.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle Cloud Financials solution architecture across financial capabilities and enterprise integrations
- Design financial processes, dataflows, controls, reporting and inbound and outbound integrations
- Ensure integrations use enterprise patterns including Oracle Integration Cloud, APIs and event-driven architecture
- Lead secure, auditable and reliable connectivity across financial and enterprise platforms
- Own architecture decisions and non-functional requirements for performance, security and resilience
- Maintain design standards, reference architectures and governance practices
- Mentor ERP analysts, engineers, developers and contract staff
- Guide vendors and stakeholders on Oracle ERP solution discussions
- Promote responsible AI-assisted development and automation tools
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or a related field
- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience as an ERP Architect or Technical Architect in Oracle Cloud Financials
- At least five years of experience designing or overseeing Oracle Cloud Financials integrations
- At least three years of experience with pension administration, payroll or core financial-platform integrations
- Either English or French at UN Level III
Desired Criteria
- Three or more years designing financial dataflows, reporting integrations and reconciliation processes with enterprise data platforms or data warehouses
