Job Description
UNICEF seeks a consultant to establish and coordinate an inter-agency Youth Network Group under the PROSPECTS partnership. The assignment will engage displaced and vulnerable young people in programme, advocacy and decision-making processes, prioritising MENA while connecting learning with Eastern and Southern Africa. It includes network design, onboarding, work-planning, coordination, advocacy and knowledge management.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Design the Youth Network Group through consultations with partners and young people
- Support recruitment, selection and onboarding of Youth Network Group participants
- Develop the roadmap, workplan and capacity-strengthening approach
- Coordinate meaningful youth engagement, advocacy, learning and knowledge-management activities
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in international development, advocacy, knowledge management, youth engagement or programme support
- Experience independently coordinating stakeholders, documenting activities and delivering agreed outputs
- Experience engaging adolescents and young people through participatory processes or youth groups
Desired Criteria
- Experience with UNICEF, another UN agency or an international development organization, particularly in MENA
- Understanding of the MENA context and issues affecting adolescents and young people in PROSPECTS countries
