Job Description
Leads UNDP Cambodia's advocacy, strategic communications and public outreach work, translating programme priorities into messages, campaigns and multimedia products. The role builds partnerships with government, donors, civil society and communities, supports resource mobilisation, and documents results to strengthen public engagement and national development outcomes.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Design and implement advocacy and communication strategies aligned with UNDP priorities
- Develop key messages, talking points, briefing notes and advocacy materials
- Produce stories, press releases, social media content and multimedia products
- Plan outreach campaigns, events, forums and public engagement initiatives
- Build relationships with communities, youth groups and other target audiences
- Map stakeholders and support strategic partnerships, donor outreach and proposal development
- Document lessons, best practices and results for reports and donor updates
- Maintain databases of partners, stakeholders and outreach activities
Role Requirements
- Cambodian nationals only
- Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, International Development, Political Science or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least two years of relevant professional experience with a Master’s degree or four years with a Bachelor’s degree in communications, advocacy, partnerships or outreach
- Fluency in Khmer and English
- Experience using office software and web-based management systems including ERP
Desired Criteria
- Experience coordinating stakeholders and building partnerships with government counterparts, UN agencies and donors
- Experience in digital marketing, social media management, campaign development, branding and event coordination
- Ability to produce and tailor high-quality reports, briefs and outreach materials
- Previous experience with UN agencies or development organisations
