Summary of Responsibilities

  • Prepare an inception report, methodology and data-collection tools
  • Review partner verification, protection-support and transfer processes
  • Consult all eight INGO partners and review sample cases
  • Map strengths, bottlenecks, risks and process-improvement opportunities
  • Co-design and pilot an INGO assessment tool
  • Develop protection guidelines and deliver partner capacity strengthening

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in human rights, gender studies, international relations, law or related field
  • Experience assessing protection approaches and partner capacity
  • Experience working with women human rights defenders, gender-based violence or protection programming
  • Strong qualitative research, interview and analytical-report writing skills
  • Fluency in English
