Job Description
Leads a national assessment of the economic inclusion of persons with disabilities in Jordan, examining policy, institutional and sectoral barriers. The consultant will combine desk research, inclusive qualitative fieldwork and stakeholder consultation to produce validated, evidence-based findings and recommendations that inform Jordan's future national strategy.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Review national legislation, policies, studies and statistical datasets on disability inclusion in Jordan
- Analyse economic participation and rights across education, skills development, employment, accessibility, health and social protection
- Apply an intersectional gender lens to barriers affecting women and girls with disabilities
- Design inclusive mixed-methods research and data-collection tools
- Conduct consultations with government, human rights institutions, OPDs, private sector entities and civil society
- Facilitate focus group discussions with persons with diverse disabilities across Jordan
- Draft an evidence-based assessment and actionable recommendations for the national strategy
- Present findings at a stakeholder validation workshop and incorporate feedback into the final report
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in development studies, sociology, political science, economics, psychology, other social sciences or a disability-related field
- At least seven years of work experience in social policy, social research and disability inclusion in the Arab region
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Legal right to live and work in the specified working location
