Job Description

Supports UN Women Bangladesh to embed disability inclusion and Leave No One Behind principles across programming, partnerships and learning. The consultant coordinates prevention-forum work, designs capacity-building and digital training, strengthens reporting and knowledge products, and helps teams deliver inclusive gender-equality initiatives across Bangladesh.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communication, meetings and information sharing for the Prevention Forum
  • Deliver training and learning reports for prevention and fellowship programmes
  • Provide inputs to UN Women reporting and develop knowledge products
  • Design and lead disability-inclusion capacity-development sessions
  • Support disability-inclusion advocacy with UN task teams, civil society and organizations of persons with disabilities
  • Integrate Leave No One Behind and disability inclusion into programme activities
  • Coordinate with thematic units and the Cox’s Bazar sub-office on implementation

Role Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Gender Studies, International Development, social science or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of relevant programming and implementation experience in gender equality and disability inclusion
  • At least seven years managing platforms or networks focused on user-centric design, scalability and accessibility
  • At least five years developing digital training content on GBV prevention and disability inclusion
  • Fluency in English and Bangla

Desired Criteria

  • Previous United Nations experience
  • Samples of disability-inclusion work available online
