Vocational Training Instructor – Aluminum Fabrication and Installation

UNRWA seeks a vocational training instructor to deliver aluminium fabrication and installation learning programmes in Damascus. The role develops competency-based curricula, facilitates practical training, assesses learners and integrates occupational safety, green and digital skills into TVET delivery. It also uses employer and labour-market feedback to keep courses aligned with skills needs.

• Develop aluminium-specialism learning programmes, curriculum profiles, learning guides and manuals
• Facilitate school-based and work-based training in classrooms, laboratories, workshops and workplaces
• Prepare formative and summative student assessments and practice-based skills tests
• Use labour-market information and employer feedback to identify training-course skills needs
• Apply the UNRWA TVET Quality Assurance Framework across the training cycle
• Integrate green and digital skills and occupational safety into learning programmes

• Full secondary education plus two years of post-secondary technical education or training in Mechanical Engineering
• No experience is required
• English is required
• Residence in Syria within commuting distance of the duty station and authorisation to work there
