Vocational Training Instructor – Sheet Metal

The Vocational Training Instructor delivers UNRWA TVET learning in sheet-metal technology in Damascus. The role develops curricula and learning materials, facilitates inclusive workplace training, assesses practical and knowledge-based skills, engages employers and labour-market data, applies quality assurance, and integrates occupational safety, green and digital skills into training.

• Develop learning programmes and curricula for sheet-metal training
• Facilitate inclusive learning in classrooms, laboratories, workshops and workplaces
• Prepare and conduct practical and knowledge-based skills assessments
• Use employer engagement and labour-market information to identify training needs
• Apply TVET quality assurance and integrate green, digital and occupational-safety skills

• Full secondary education plus two years post-secondary technical education or training in mechanical engineering
• English and Arabic are required
• Residence in Syria within commuting distance and authorisation to work at the duty station
