This home-based UN Women consultancy develops a training module on artificial intelligence, institutional transformation and gender-responsive statistical leadership. The consultant designs learning materials and incorporates technical feedback. Summary of Responsibilities

  • Finalize the training approach and workplan with UN Women teams
  • Develop draft module content and training materials
  • Incorporate written feedback into the draft package
  • Finalize the module and delivery-ready learning resources
  • Deliver the training module remotely and debrief with UN Women
  • Hand over improved materials and lessons from the training session

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in International Development, Social Sciences, International Relations, Gender Studies, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science or a related field
  • At least seven years of professional experience in gender or inclusive statistics, capacity building, learning-material development, resources or research
  • Experience teaching, building capacity or communicating gender or inclusive statistical content to international and government audiences
  • Excellent English communication and writing skills

Desired Criteria

  • Research on gender issues with working understanding of AI, machine learning and LLMs
  • Experience with the UN System
  • Experience leading research teams
