Job Description

Adapts UN Women's care-training modules to Uzbekistan's evolving care system for the Global Accelerator on Decent Jobs and Social Protection. The consultant coordinates with a national expert, develops the training concept, agenda and learning assessments, facilitates selected sessions, and reports on delivery, participant feedback and future capacity-building recommendations.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Adapt core care-training modules to Uzbekistan's local context
  • Revise the training concept note and develop the training agenda
  • Facilitate selected training sessions with the national expert
  • Integrate study findings on formalising domestic and care work into training modules
  • Design pre- and post-training questionnaires to assess learning outcomes
  • Prepare a training report covering discussions, feedback, lessons and recommendations

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in political or social science, economics, international development studies, gender or women's studies, or a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated expertise in women's economic empowerment
  • Proven experience conducting training and developing concept papers, policy documents, methodologies and guidelines
  • Proficient written and spoken English

Desired Criteria

  • Professional experience in the Europe and Central Asia region
