Training Officer

The Training Officer designs, delivers and evaluates Umoja learning programmes for Secretariat operations. The P-3 role leads e-learning and blended-learning development, training-needs analysis, workshops and LMS improvements with subject-matter experts and clients. It monitors training-project delivery, evaluates learning impact and supports sustained end-user performance.

• Design, develop, implement and evaluate the Umoja training programme and assigned projects
• Develop e-learning content and instructional materials with subject-matter experts
• Monitor training-project delivery and ensure follow-up actions
• Analyse staff-development needs and prepare training recommendations
• Conduct workshops and Training of Trainers events
• Lead Learning Management System enhancements and advise learning managers

• Advanced degree in education, human resources management, information systems management, business administration or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in learning management projects, capacity development, training or a related area
• Experience designing blended training programmes with an e-learning component
• Experience developing, delivering and supporting enterprise resource planning training programmes
• English is required

• Experience using enterprise resource planning software such as Umoja and talent-management software such as Inspira
