Job Description
Lead evaluation and selected programme-management activities for the World Academy of Sciences in Trieste. The specialist will develop rigorous evaluations, monitor programme performance, supervise delivery, manage CRM records and strengthen accountability and reporting to donors and scientific partners.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead programme evaluations using results-based management and strong terms of reference
- Oversee internal and external evaluations and ensure rigorous timely findings
- Design and implement assigned programmes and supervise supporting staff
- Monitor programme progress and propose corrective actions
- Support donor and scientific partnerships reporting meetings workshops and CRM governance
Role Requirements
- Hold an advanced university degree in a relevant discipline
- Have at least four years of progressively responsible experience in programme management evaluation public relations or a related field
- Have experience across all phases of the project cycle
- Bring relevant international programme-management experience involving technical cooperation in developing countries
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written English
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of Italian or another official UNESCO language
