Job Description
Conducts the national component of UN Women's Country Portfolio Evaluation in Kyrgyzstan, assessing the 2023–2027 Strategic Note on relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, human rights and gender equality. The evaluator will support data collection, analysis and reporting, engage stakeholders and translate evidence into recommendations that inform the next country strategy and strengthen accountability.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support evaluability assessment and inception-report preparation
- Collect and review portfolio evidence and conduct interviews
- Conduct in-country evaluation data collection
- Analyse and synthesise evidence for preliminary findings
- Draft evaluation-report sections and incorporate review feedback
- Engage stakeholders through consultations and validation processes
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in social science, sociology, international development, gender or women's studies
- At least 5 years of experience on gender equality and women's empowerment issues including support to evaluation processes
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation
- Experience of gender analysis and human-rights-based approaches
- Fluency in English and Russian
Desired Criteria
- Working knowledge of Kyrgyz
- Experience with UN agencies or international organisations
