Job Description

Supports UN Women and Kazakhstan's Ministry of Internal Affairs to strengthen the occupational well-being and psychological resilience of officers in specialised domestic-violence units. The consultant will develop practical training materials, deliver pilot sessions, assess participant feedback and recommend approaches that reduce occupational stress and burnout while supporting gender-responsive, survivor-centred police practice.

  • Review occupational stress and resilience needs of specialist police units
  • Develop practical training content on well-being and psychological resilience
  • Deliver pilot training sessions for law-enforcement professionals
  • Collect and analyse participant feedback
  • Coordinate with UN Women, national experts and the Ministry of Internal Affairs
  • Develop recommendations to strengthen professional well-being and resilience

Role Requirements

  • Master's degree in psychology, social sciences, mental health or a related field
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in occupational well-being, psychological resilience or related work
  • Experience developing and delivering training programmes
  • Fluency in Russian

Desired Criteria

  • Working knowledge of English

Additional info

  • Official travel within Kazakhstan is required for pilot training delivery
