Job Description

Provides international technical expertise to strengthen gender-responsive, survivor-centred police responses to domestic violence in Kazakhstan. The consultant will review laws and practice, develop a practical two-day training package, deliver pilot sessions for specialist police units, assess feedback and produce recommendations that support safer, more effective prevention, protection and justice responses for survivors.

Role Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field or first-level degree plus additional qualifying experience
  • At least 5 years of professional experience on violence against women or domestic violence
  • Experience developing and delivering training for police or law-enforcement professionals
  • Demonstrated knowledge of international standards and Kazakhstan's law-enforcement context
  • Fluency in Russian

Desired Criteria

  • Working knowledge of English
