Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide technical inputs to humanitarian strategies, annual plans, proposals and resource mobilisation
- Manage humanitarian and Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund projects with partners
- Plan budgets, track expenditure and maintain project risk and documentation systems
- Build partner capacity and supervise the Gender in Humanitarian Action team
- Monitor activities, results, indicators, finances and donor reporting
- Coordinate the Cox's Bazar Gender in Humanitarian Action Chapter and inter-agency platforms
- Document lessons and produce analytical reports, guidance and knowledge products
- Lead advocacy, communications and cross-learning on gender-responsive humanitarian action
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in gender or women's studies, public administration, law, human rights, gender equality, social sciences or a related field, or first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least two years of progressively responsible national or sub-national development or humanitarian programme experience
- Experience in gender-equality programming in humanitarian settings
- Experience managing projects implemented by local women-led organisations
- Experience coordinating inter-agency mechanisms in humanitarian crises
- Experience with office software, spreadsheet and database packages and web-based management systems
- Fluency in English and Bengali
Desired Criteria
- Project or programme management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or MSP
- Experience in the Rohingya refugee response
- Experience coordinating government actors
- Experience leading personnel in international settings
- Experience with a modern web-based ERP system, preferably Oracle Cloud
- Knowledge of Chittagonian or Rohingya
