Job Description
Provides specialist support to UNICEF and Caribbean countries to advance climate-resilient safely managed sanitation. The consultancy will develop investment and climate-finance products, support country roadmaps, analyse regional enabling conditions and document evidence and lessons that strengthen sanitation programming, policy and financing across the region.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop climate-finance and investment products for climate-resilient sanitation
- Provide technical support for implementation of country sanitation roadmaps
- Analyse regional enabling environments for sanitation
- Document evidence and lessons to inform UNICEF and partner programming
- Support Caribbean countries to advance safely managed sanitation at national and regional levels
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in environmental engineering, public health, climate resilience, public policy, social sciences or a related field
- At least 10 years leading safely managed sanitation programme development and delivery at regional scale or higher
- Experience integrating climate resilience into sanitation or WASH programmes
- Experience providing technical support or capacity building at regional or multi-country levels
- Ability to engage with and leverage funds from multilateral development banks and development partners
Desired Criteria
- Experience working with UNICEF, the World Bank, regional institutions, development banks or government-led sector platforms
- Experience organizing global or regional WASH workshops, conferences or events
- Experience conducting high-level engagement with government officials and stakeholders at regional and national levels
